DECKRAID DR4 embeds the Oxford 936QS
chipset that provides a content safe, allowing single drive
failure, RAID 5 storage solution that’s affordable and cost
effective. It is RAID 5 ready right out of the box, so there’s
no confusing or difficult hardware or software to set up. Simply
install the drives, format them and go!

remove with ease
Equipped with removable hard drive trays,
installing or removing a drive would be absolutely hassle-free.
There are no extra wires to attach, simply insert the drive to
the designated slot and go! Each drive tray is also equipped
with a locking mechanism to secure the drive into place to keep
the drives and data safe.
Boot via FireWire
Via FireWire 800 connectivity, the
DECKRAID DR4 is capable of acting as a RAID 5 boot drive that’s
fault tolerant and resistant to single drive failures. Such a
function also equips a user with a secondary boot drive that can
be used remotely on other remote workstations when necessary.
Stack to expand
When you have limited working space to
expand your storage needs, the DR4 takes care of that with its
multi-stackable design taking up no more than 2 sheets of copy
paper wide in size. Along in the same family as the DR4, the
DECKTANK DT4 that has also the same in body structure; you can
easily configure, stack to expand your storage needs easily.

Store all of your creative contents or
convert all your CD or DVD libraries to the DR4 for a large
archive and the best protection against data loss. The system
enclosure supports hard drives up to 2TB per drive slot,
totaling 6TB of massive content safe storage so you can store
anything and everything with peace of mind.

connected to the STARDOM SJ20-x8 SATA host adapter via eSATA,
the result is a stunning average throughput performance of

DECKRAID DR4 supports the Time
Machine® included in the Mac OS X, Leopard®.via Firewire 800
or USB 2.0 connectivity (HFS+ drive format required), all of
your system files can be speedily backed up to the RAID 5
unit, which extends an extra level of protection of your
