Overview
The first-to-market MegaRAID Ultra320 PCI Express RAID adapter
enables a robust, effective and high-bandwidth server and storage
solution. This dual-channel Ultra320 SCSI adapter in a half-size PCI
form factor supports an x8 PCI Express host interface. With its superior
bandwidth for component communications and a much simpler internal
design, PCI Express MegaRAID storage adapters address the growing demand
for higher storage device throughput and scalability requirements across
midrange and enterprise class server platforms.
Market-Leading Fault Tolerance
LSI Logic MegaRAID technology continues to raise the bar by offering
the highest levels of fault tolerant data protection, including
Microsoft Server Clustering Support (MSCS). LSI Logic's innovative
intelligent Transportable Battery Backup Unit (iTBBU®) technology for
cached data protection allows system builders to protect cached data
even during the most catastrophic system failures. Other advanced fault
tolerance features - including patrol read for enhanced detection of
physical device failure and temporary offline, an array recovery feature
for secondary drive failures in degraded arrays - further extend
