Intel Twisted

This is a top-quality Ultra320 SCA converter recommended by SCSI4ME. It can also be used as single-drive backplane, which allows you to hot swap the drive. We recently found many low-quality SCA converters in the market. Some of them are not even LVD capable while claimed to be LVD/SE. A Single-Ended SCA converter will downgrade the whole SCSI channel to 40MB/s. To help you buy a right SCA converter, we show the following pictures.

 
This is the typical converter in the market claimed by irresponsible sellers to be LVD/SE. But in fact, it is not able to support LVD. It is SE only. Stay away from it unless if your SCA drive is old SE.

     
This converter is Ultra320 compliant. But we would more like to treat it as a Ultra160 converter. The guess is the manufacturer simply prints "Ultra 320/m SCSI Compliant" on their originally Ultra160 converter. It performs well as Ultra160. But when used as Ultra320, it is a low-end performer.

    

This one is what we are selling. Super slim, solid design, true Ultra320, top quality, and hot-swappable. Our cost on it is twice as much as the above one.
